Nissan Serena Review

Nissan Serena is a van type car manufactured by Nissan Motors. It is a multi purpose vehicle ( MPV ) that started off as a small car and has increased in size gradually. It is designed specially for the whole family who wants to spend time all together. It is a square-shaped van.

Nissan Serena Specifications

Nissan Serena is comes with L4, 16-valve, DOHC engine with Twin Variable Valve Timing Control (Twin VTC) which generates the maximum power of 147PS / 5,600 rpm along with the maximum torque of 21.4 kg-m / 4,400 rpm. Its displacement is 1997 cc. The length of the car is 4770 mm while its width is of 1735 mm and height is of 1865 mm. The ground clearance of the car is 160 mm and its kerb weight is of 1685 kgs. The capacity of its fuel tank is 60 litres. The engine is controlled by an Electronic Concentrated Engine Control System.

Nissan Serena is equipped with 15-inch wheels with multi-parabola headlamps and multi-reflector taillamps. It also has four-speed, automatic transmission system; front suspension with McPherson struts; rear multi-link suspension with stabilizers; and drum in disc rear and parking brakes. The wheel base of the car is 2695 mm along with the minimum turning radius of 5.5 meters. 10 passengers can easily sit in it. It also has Direct Fuel Injection System with power assisted rack & pinion steering.

In the section of Safety features, Nissan Serena includes Anti-lock brake system with EBD ( Electronic Brake Distribution system ), high mount stop lamps, side turn lamps,  3-point ELR x 2 front seat belts, 2 point rear seatbelt, side impact beams, child safety locks, driver and assist airbags.

The price of Nissan Serena is 35000$ approximately. This car comes in 2 variants and these are Nissan Serena 250 L and Nissan Serena 250 E.
